When I first heard her, I thought it was a joke or something, her voice was so stretched and fragile... I then learned that she has a neuro condition that affects her voice.
Diane has a pretty interesting story herself, her husband's decision to end suffering, and her voice battle... I do love the questions she asks and I appreciate her absence rather than presence in her interviews because her active listening provides her guests with some "trust time" and allows certain openness that wouldn't be possible otherwise.
