leslielemonOf Gods and Men was definitely good. if you decide to see it, don't expect much action. there are scenes of monks singing lasting for minutes. the film really does show a bit of the lives of those people. who lived in perfect unity with the muslim village dwellers. it's a rather interesting concept. post 9/11 and all.
it's a serene picture and it definitely tugs at some strings. long forgotten strings.
it's nice not to see LA or New York in a film for a change, not to be attacked with car chases and naked bodies. it's definitely a sad sad story. the strength portrayed is quite amazing though. humility, forgiveness, selflessness - all that is not so popular these days.
