помнится англичанин готовил какое-то классическое английское блюдо из типичных английских деликатесов - колбаски, картошка, броколи, [прекрасный представитель английской кухни] называя его stodgy. при этом он кажется имел ввиду питательные свойства блюда, а не его английскую блёклость и нудность.
