Of Gods and Men was definitely good. if you decide to see it, don't expect much action. there are scenes of monks singing lasting for minutes. the film really does show a bit of the lives of those people. who lived in perfect unity with the muslim village dwellers. it's a rather interesting concept. post 9/11 and all.

it's a serene picture and it definitely tugs at some strings. long forgotten strings.

it's nice not to see LA or New York in a film for a change, not to be attacked with car chases and naked bodies. it's definitely a sad sad story. the strength portrayed is quite amazing though. humility, forgiveness, selflessness - all that is not so popular these days.
