I guess I've sort of caught glimpses of it in the English folk I've encountered but no one did it quite as mush ac Toxa :)

To me, an extreme example in the English speaking community is a ditsy teen talking about her day and using "like" for every other word.

but yes, I recall now that one of the appalling things to me in 8th grade (1/2 year since getting off the boat) was the way a girl spoke during her presentation. she definitely had the high rising terminal issue.

да, я как заразу подобные вещи подхватываю. был у меня хахаль, который говорил несколько тормознуто, и часто вставлял "ээээээ" как в чатах так и в устной речи. что ты думаешь, сама тупить начала.
